A Little Bit About Me

I started my journey working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. I cannot put into words how valuable and life changing this experience was for me as I began my career as a clinician. Working with this population of amazing young people taught me that therapy can only be effective if the relationship between therapist and client is one of trust, empathy, and collaboration. Having the opportunity to develop impactful connections with these kids, some of which were non-verbal, prepared me for my future endeavors as a therapist. I owe much of my success to them.

As a therapist, my first priority is to create a safe and secure space for my clients where they feel fully accepted, understood, and cared for no matter what difficulties they are facing.  It takes a lot of courage to come into therapy and disclose your deepest vulnerabilities to a new person. I am here to meet clients wherever they are at when they first come in no matter how dark of a place they may be in.

I have a broad range of clinical experience and specific expertise in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.  I am extremely passionate about helping those struggling with the sexual and aggressive obsession realms of OCD as I know these symptoms can be especially painful and terrifying.  I am also highly experienced in treating anxiety disorders, eating disorders, depression, autism, and trauma. I am here to offer relief through compassionate therapy and my professional skillset.

I trained in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient, inpatient, residential, PHP, and IOP programs with specific focuses in OCD, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and autism. I completed 18 months of training at the UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital's Adult OCD Program under the supervision of leading OCD experts.

I completed my B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Musical Studies from the University of Southern California and my M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from Pepperdine University.
